Wow, a Friday that I didn't have anything to do, so nice! As I said previously, work and school consume a majority of my time, and it is nice to be busy...BUT it is extra nice to have a free Friday night.
Tyanna and I got to go to a little concert for my cousin Steven here in Cache Valley. It was so good! He is one amazing musician that sings, plays the piano, and the guitar! Everyone was going crazy! I'm so glad he came here to do a show, it was so fun to see him. We were good buddies when we were younger. :) You'll have to keep track of him, his name is Steven Halliday, I'm sure he'll be big. ;)
The night ended with a stop at the healthiest dessert place in town, Spoon Me! Have you tried their frozen yogurt? It is a little cup of goodness...AND so healthy! It is pure yogurt with a natural sweetener and a fruit topping (my fave is raspberries), soooo good! Go to a Spoon Me near you!
Here are some pictures of Steve, thought it would be fun for you (my family that is) to see.

Life is Great!
Life is super busy right now! With classes and two jobs I seem to be always running from place to place! I am loving every minute of it though. I love being busy...is that weird? Life is great and I enjoy working on campus within Utah State's international programs office. It has been such a blessing and great learning experience.
So...I've been on a huge health kick lately and I thought that I'd share. I have always been a major treat person...but I decided to go cold turkey and stop the sugar and junk completely. I am not trying to lose weight or anything, I just want to feel healthy. I have been doing it for almost a month now and I feel great!!!! I never thought that I could do it but it is a piece of cake (pun intended)! :) Life is a little more peachy when you're running and having control with what you eat. I'm serious, give it a try. You'll feel so great (treats are fun though, I'm not suggesting you should do what I'm doing and completely stop eating treats).
Life is great! Oh how I love this holiday season (even without the desserts). I'm getting so excited for Thanksgiving and the Christmas season. What a wonderful time of year! Thought I'd give you a little update on my life. :)

New Little Niece
Last night I was able to go to the University Hospital in SLC and see darling little Emmalyn. She is beautiful! Heather and Matt were so happy and they seem to glow. I'm so happy for them! They will be great parents.
Babies are such a blessing! I'm such a lucky Auntie! We finally met! I was explaining to her how much fun we were going to have, I detected a smile.
Isn't she so beautiful?!
She was showing off her lung power here. Very impressive!
They were teaching me how to wrap her in the blanky.
The cute new family!

SHE'S HERE!
She is finally here! Heather went into the hospital yesterday at 6:30am, and our dear little Emmalyn finally arrived at 4:30am today. I'm so excited to see her! Stay tuned for pictures.

Halloween Weekend

I went home for the Palmer family Halloween party. I played the lame-o card and wore my 9th grade cheerleading outfit...I had to rush from work so creativity wasn't an option.
Stacey and Dave annouced that they are expecting a baby! We're so excited! Seeing how Heather hasn't had her baby yet (yes, she was due last week...she's miserable)all sisters and one sis in law are expecting. That will make 16 grandchildren!

My favorite part of Halloween is this! I have the sweetest nieces and nephews!

Happy Halloween!

This was my costume for a Halloween party that I went to yesterday. I felt like I was just getting ready to perform for drill team again! Lots of makeup!

Palmer Family Blog
Hey extended family members! My mom brought up a good point that we should invite other family members to "view" the Palmer family blog. Leave your email address in the comment area if you want an invite! Love you!
